perspective of working with our member municipal systems.
Jeff Bice
Jeff Bice is a new face to Alabama
811 but not to the damage prevention industry. As our new Damage Prevention Coordinator covering the central Alabama area, Jeff comes from spending the last 28 years of his career working for a municipal gas system
in Shelby County. For the majority
of his career, he served as the Gas Superintendent and retired from that position to join Alabama 811. Jeff comes to us with a wealth of practical knowledge from having operated a
gas system, being directly involved
in damage prevention, dealing with compliance issues and regulations, and working with the software applications used by Alabama 811, its members and excavators.
Jeff and his wife Tiffany have been married for thirteen years and have a son who has been a fan of Alabama 811 even as a toddler. He has even had an 811 birthday and may have been even more excited for Jeff to join our team than we are!!
Outside of work, Jeff enjoys their family cattle farm. They have a small herd of SimAngus/South Poll cattle in Brierfield, AL. He also enjoys going to church and playing southern gospel music.
Jeff is looking forward to meeting all the member utility systems that are
or possibly the disaster that can be avoided. He is a proven advocate for further educating people about the importance of using the 811 system.
